Hayward Care Group Leadership Development

Hayward Care Group are three companies in Cannock operating under a group structure. HaywardBefriending provides befriending services, Hayward Community Care provides care for people in their home, and Hayward Community Living provides safe places for people to live with the help of their trained carers.

Owner and Director, Carlton Hayward describes why he felt their leaders would benefit from our programme: "We'd had a few years of a one person show, then a two person show, in our directors. We needed a bit of structure"

People Powered Change developed a tailored leadership development programme for the senior leadership team focussed developing a greater sense of confidence in their leadership skills. The sessions were designed to stimulate discussion whilst helping forge a greater sense of team amongst the leaders.

At People Powered Change we take a partnership approach to working with clients, whilst our programmes start with clear goal setting with clients, we like to keep the content open, to ensure we deliver a truly bespoke programme based on developing relationships with teams.

After our six month programme with the Group, the first cohort of leaders are now graduated, and will continue to receive quarterly training from us, as well as becoming mentors for the next cohort of leaders as they go through the programme. We wish this cohort continued success in their leadership journey and look forward to working with cohort 2!
