Put simply, we're all about people
We support organisations, teams and individuals to create positive change. This change can help people work more effectively and efficiently together; improve their communication and better understand themselves and each other.
We’re not experts on every issue facing organisations – and neither would we want to be. In our role as facilitators, we embrace an attitude of lifelong learning and growth. We’re here to ask questions, spark conversations and guide people through the process using our wide-ranging toolkit – inspiring everyone to get involved along the way!
Our projects are all bespoke – individually crafted to meet the needs of the people and organisations we work with. If you’re looking to create purposeful change for yourself or your team, give us a bell to chat about how we can help.
Here are some examples of the work we do:
What we do
for people
At the heart of every organisation is its’ people, and at People Powered Change we work to support people as individuals to develop an understanding of themselves and move confidently towards their goals.
Whether you’re looking to better understand your response to pressure, improve your management of stress, build better relationships or make steps towards your career goals: we’re here to help and support you.
Myers Briggs
Self-development starts with self-awareness – and Myers Briggs offers a solid starting point to understanding what makes you tick: pinpointing your communication style and how you relate to the world.
We can work with you to understand your Myers Briggs Type and how this changes under pressure – helping you to understand how you react to stress, predict it and manage it.
Coaching
We offer individual coaching - using traditional coaching techniques, as well as systemic coaching and constellations - to further support self-development and help you reach your goals.

Coaching is a safe space for you to explore your aims, beliefs and experiences and make steps towards where you want to be. We can provide coaching on a range of topics, including career development and creating positive relationships.
What we do
for teams
When teams understand how to work well together, they can work efficiently, contribute positively to the organisation’s culture and benefit from a happy work environment. But if low morale, misunderstandings and disagreements creep in, the workplace becomes a less pleasant space for everyone – and no one wants that, right?
We work with teams to help them better understand each other, communicate and work effectively as a group. We use a range of different approaches, which include:
Team development
With any group of people, it’s common to have misunderstandings and niggles which, over time, can grow into bigger difficulties. Our facilitation sessions create a safe space where we can begin open and honest conversations to help team members understand each other’s point of view – through tools like Myers Briggs to better understand people’s personalities - and work through issues to create a happier, more successful team.
Process improvement
We deliver process improvement on both an organisational and team level: aiming to reduce inefficiencies and create more effective processes. Previous projects have involved full system reviews of income collection, finance processing and repairs & maintenance.
We’ve also worked on process improvement projects with mediation, homelessness and befriending organisations: looking at processes such as sign-up procedures and the gathering, storage and uses of data.
Myers Briggs
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) categorises people into one of 16 different personality types. These types – which all have positive traits - demonstrate preferences of how people behave and relate to others.

MBTI can help teams to develop more understanding both of themselves as individuals, as well as how their teammates prefer to work and communicate. It supports teams to understand their collective strengths and helps to reduce conflict.

Here at People Powered Change, we’re fully certified MBTI Practitioners, and can offer a range of workshops to help people identify their type, understand how their preferences change under different circumstances - such as stress, and discover how others on their team prefer to work and communicate.
What we do
for leadership teams
At People Powered Change, we often say that ‘all roads lead to the leader’. Leaders have a massive influence on the culture of an organisation through their communication, beliefs and management style.
Our Leadership Coaching projects help to develop self-awareness, build confidence and improve communication. We support both individuals and leadership teams to be more effective – and the results trickle down to teams, who benefit from clearer communication, stronger management and a positive working atmosphere.
What we do
for organisations
Behind all the hierarchy, systems, branding and more: organisations are simply a group of people. How well those people communicate, understand each other and work together has a massive impact on how the organisation functions as a whole.
We work with organisations to deliver projects which help to implement large-scale changes, develop efficient processes and improve organisational culture.
This includes projects such as:
We use a three-stage process to create and implement improvements. We enter the investigate stage with an open mind and a sense of curiosity. It’s an exploration to understand how the process currently works and identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Our imagine phase is where we get creative! We’ll work with you and your team and – using innovative design tools – scrutinise and rethink the problem to create more efficient ways of working.
Facilitation projects
As humans, we’re often resistant to change – and when it comes to implementing organisation-wide changes, it can be difficult to get everyone on board.
Through our facilitation projects we work with people from across the organisation to open up conversations about the change, explore the issues involved and implement changes in a non-threatening way. We’ve previously run facilitation projects on topics such as company values and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) programmes.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)
Including everyone and supporting organisations to think more consciously about inclusivity is really important to us.
When it comes to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), people often worry about ‘getting it wrong’. With our focus on creating safe spaces for discussion, people can feel comfortable and curious exploring and learning about these topics.
The outcome? People learn how they can be more inclusive as individuals – and organisations develop spaces where people feel like they belong, feel safe, and feel they can be themselves.
